Between the testaments sermon outline.

The Messiah in prophecy

Is Jesus spoken of in prophecy? Do we see Him fulfilling prophecy?
In the bible there are a total of 365 Messianic prophecies.
Can we see Jesus in them?
I want to take look at them with you and show to you that we can see Jesus in Prophecy. In fact the Messianic prophecies are all about Him.
Genesis 3:15.....Seed of a woman (virgin birth)...fulfilled in. Luke 1:35, Matthew 1:18-20
2. Genesis 3:15.....He will bruise Satan's head...fulfilled in. Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:18
3. Genesis 5:24....says that He will physically ascend into Heaven that was fulfilled before witnesses in....Mark 6:19
4. Genesis 9:26-27...The God of Shem will be the Son of Shem.We see this in. Luke 3:36
5. Genesis 12:3...As Abraham's seed, will bless all nations...Acts 3:25,26
6. Genesis 12:7... The Promise made made to Abraham's Seed...Galatians 3:16

Numbers tells us Not a bone of Him broken..., The serpent on a pole-Christ lifted up..., Flight to Egypt…, Time: "I shall see him, but not now, A star out of Jacob
Deuteronomy also points to Jesus the Messiah..."This is of a truth that prophet, ..."Had ye believed Moses, ye would believe me, Sent by the Father to speak His word..., ...Whoever will not hear must bear his sin..., As a prophet…, Cursed is he that hangs on a tree
Ruth shows us Christ, our kinsman who has redeemed us

Proverbs on and on through the old testament we see the Messianic prophecies. And everyone points to Jesus as the Messiah. will you serve Him? Will worship Him? Will you turn to Him? He is standing before you this day. Will you turn to Him.
